Hello, I'm Patrick Shane. I'm the Head Women's Cross Country coach at BYU, the largest private university in the USA. I offer a 4 and 8 month Altitude Training Camp for exceptional athletes. 

Here are a few facts about my coaching career and the amazing athletes I coach, who have chosen to come to BYU:
  • Captured four National XC Championships (NCAA)
  • Coached 19 National Champions (NCAA)
  • Finished in the NCAA Top 10 a total of 19 times
  • Finished in the NCAA Top 20 a total of 22 times
  • Qualified for nationals 28 times in 32 years
  • Captured 24 conference championships  
  • Earned 16 District titles
  • I've coached 6 Olympians
  • I've coached 49 runners to All-American status
  • Named National Cross Country Coach of the Year three times
  • Named MWC Indoor Track Coach of the Year
  • Named MWC Outdoor Track Coach of the Year
  • Named MWC Coach of the Year 10 times
  • Named district Coach of the Year nine times
  • Women's Head Coach for the first place USA Women's Track and Field Team for the IAAF World Junior Championships, Poland
  • Women's Head Coach for the USA Junior Women's Cross Country team in Durham, England
  • Women's Head Coach for the USA Senior World Cross Country Team in Portugal
  • Helped develop the USATF Coaching Program
